Narok County Soccer

Sports are associated with lower rates of stress, depression, and suicidal behaviour. Participation in team sports reduces the risk of youths involving themselves with substance abuse and other reckless behaviours. Team sports enhance resilience, empathy, confidence and empowerment.

This is a Sports campaign that we launched in Narok County to sensitize the youths and community at large on the importance of supporting women and teenage girls and fighting the culture of FGM and early forced marriages amongst teenage girls and supporting them archive education and leadership positions.

Soccer is one way we use to bring youths together and empower them economically by helping them start groups for sustainable programs like farming and we make them Ambassadors advocating women’s rights and fighting Against FGM.
