Mental Health
As mental health has become a global challenge more so after the Covid, Kenya has been highly impacted by the challenge of mental health and mental illness.
It is estimated that in every 10 people 1 suffers from a common mental disorder. The number increases to one in every four (20-25%) people among patients attending routine outpatient visits. Stigmatization is a factor preventing Kenyans from receiving efficient treatment.
Hope Alive Foundation holds sports activities like soccer, and volleyball, and workshops and extends education to communities to sensitize and provide more resources for treatment to improve the lives of those who have mental health/mental illness and help fight stigma.
Cancer

Many die due to lack of cancer screening , Hypertension, Diabetics, Tuberculosis and Mental health related issues.
